Tessa’s one-woman show in the Zone Gallery in Kansas City opened on the first of July. Her fabric sculptures and photo works will be there all month. The whole process took monumental effort…not to mention her extraordinary talent. Tessa will be teaching art classes at Chatham College in Pittsburgh in the fall.
Blair and I have been sticking close to home this summer, enjoying our new addition and trying to tame the yard and rid it of construction debris. We have achieved green but the percentage of grass that makes up that green is less than we had hoped. We ventured down to the DooDah Parade and joined Breakfast Clubbers and neighbors at the Lombardi/Kindred’s for a cookout and a spectacular view of the Whetstone fireworks. Hillary and cousin Lara had a rooftop view of the fireworks and the Empire State Building on the Fourth.
