Slightly Silly Christmas

Mother Nature did a much better job of decorating for the season than we did this year. A day-long power outtage, a lovely ice storm and visits from the kids made it memorable.

Tessa’s back from her art residency in Wyoming. She loved the cowboy lure, the western ways (no pretense), and the landscape. David’s glad to have her back in Pittsburgh where she’s looking for a job and a studio. David’s got a bit of a breather from school and work. Hillary’s home from Virginia. BJ is in his hairiest season and remains his quirky, amusing self…working hard at John Schwab studios.

Love to you all from all of us.

Everything was coated in a sparkling layer of ice.

The house addition…December 2004

The new music/computer room is taking shape with the installation of the wood floor. Work was interrupted by the daylong power outtage and ice storm. Next comes the rest of the cabinets and built-ins.
